Pupusa Heating Instructions
Feel free to enjoy your pupusa by eating it however you'd like! However, if you'd like to try it the traditional way, we suggest adding some pickled cabbage (known in El Salvador as curtido) and a bit of mild salsa.
Cook from frozen on stove top between 16-20 minutes.
- Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle on medium heat, and add 1/2 tsp oil.
- Once the pan or griddle is hot, cook each side for 6-10 minutes.
- Use a wide spatula to flip, cook until firm and golden brown.
